If I could tell you THAT, I wouldn't be in the unhappy single life right now. =-.-;= But a good way to find out...no, I daresay the best and the only honest way...is to TALK about it with them. And other people can be pretty thick about getting the point in these matters, so you might have to directly ASK them if they have feelings for you. If they're too cowardly to speak up for who and what they want, then they don't deserve you, easy as that.
