Your wishes of not hurting are admirable, but don't let the pain take you, except as a way of propelling you where you need to be.

Use your hurt to propel you to exctasy, its energy will forever provide you with drive. Twist it's bitter heart to provide you with your joy. For what does hurt exist but for us to slash its throat, drinking its lifeblood as sustenance for our journies?

You know it as surely as my ears are pointed. I am a shadow, and in the shadows, we find the power of the universe. For it is not in what we see, but what we do not that true power lies. Embrace that power, and let your strength run true. You know it as surely as I lick the blood from my blade to taste the power I draw.
