ART! FOR GREAT JUSTICE!

I so fucked up on this. The inking is so insanely awful I have no clue why I'm putting it up.

Time taken: Around 1 hour 45 minutes

MORE FUCKED UP MARVELL POETRY ART DUE SOMETIME IN THE FUTURE!

AND! BONUS! (ifyoucancallmyartthat)

Here we have an example of an image done for my A-Level dissertation book on anime and manga styled art:

and here we have my redone version:

Another example!

Here we have an image of young Karachi and a stylised version of Angel (I was trying out a Sailor Moon themed piece)

And then, spending around...an hour - an hour and a half, I produced...

THUS ENDETH THE SPAM.

I really don't see anything awful about the inking on any of them.

They catch me, but I'm used to being caught by your art. The Karachi / Angel picture really is a nice example of bishoojo manga-looking art in my opinion.

While I do not discourage looking at minor imperfections if you wish to refine your edge, do not discourage yourself. You have real talent, and it shows.

Go on then, make me beam some more.

Eh. It was just rushed and my inking nibs are starting to bend and break so I'm not really pleased with the inking for Body.

You are very sweet to be caught by my art. I don't find anything particularly distinstive about it. The Karachi/Angel picture was meant to be very shojo in it's style and I'm glad you caught that.

I wish I believed I had talent. I just didn't get as into the inking as I usually do. And I still cheat with hands. ^_^

Will do! Expect more beaming soon! *grins back*

And the spam was good and made many smile.

Plus I think the guy with the hand in his chest may want to go see a doctor. :)

You really do! XDDD

I meant it to do more with the actual poetry. Body is making physical marks on Soul and Soul is affecting Body in a non-physical way. XDDD

I am glad the spam was good. Then I was good. And I was happy. ^_^

These are wonderful! I love the variety in your linework -- that's excellent. Something I have trouble with.

*blushes*

thank you. That means a lot coming from someone studying art at the minute. Is there a variety in my linework? I can't see anything about my art except occasional things I'm pleased with and things that I don't like!

Linework's probably my favourite thing to do. It's the colouring that I have trouble with.

Oh, yes, there's quite the variety (thick and thin)! It's something that my teachers like to stress when it comes to linework. You did an excellent job, my friend! :)

My art teacher specialised in making jewelry, so line art wasn't a big thing with her.

Thank you darling! That made my day :D

I sound like a skipping CD, but I have to say yet again, your art style is among the most unique I've ever seen! (I think Picasso gets top honors there, 'cause, seriously, that was some FUCKED-UP shit that I hope you're never drunk enough to produce. XD)

Also, the coloured FY-themed art: Y'know what the colouring, posing, and style reminded me of? Yoshitaka Amano's work. Dassa right, the art god of Final Fantasies and Neil Gaiman books everywhere. =3 You could so outdo Amano!

Really? Woah - Did not expect that! AND TOTAL LIES LOVE! But thanks for saying that. ^_^

AND YOUR PACKAGES ARE HERE AND I AM EATING POP TARTS AND YUM YUM YUM AND I LOVE YOU AND MARRY ME AGAIN AND LET'S RUN AWAY TO THE OCEAN AND WOULD YOU LIKE SOME ART?????
