Despite that slightly depressing title line - I am so spiffy it's not true. You're all in for some random thoughts~~~!
Zal, if we get a clear night sky, you and I are going to sit under the stars. Last night, after chasing Dart to get back into the FUCKING garage for the best part of 40 minutes, I grabbed a blanket and lay out for about 20 minutes until 2 or so. It was amazingly awesome.
I also have to talk to you about Arrival day! I think we're getting the bus.
OMFG 1 MONTH TO FLORIDA!!! I wish I believed it.
I feel happy.
I've been reading this introduction to Jung - fuck me! It's like someone's ringing this bell inside me. Amazing. Very, VERY cool. ^_^
I am as hyper as a Chipmunk on Acid. Possibly Alvin, haha!
I went into Eason's today, after bollocks at the dole, which still has all it's Half-Blood banners hanging up. So I turned to one of the older women on the staff and said: "Can I ask an odd question?" She looked at me like 'OMG WTF bitch?' so I asked what they did with the banners after the sale was over. She said the primary school had claimed then. 'Damn it' sez I and she grinned. Told me I wasn't the first one to ask. I laughed and said "One year ago I wouldn't have touched the books now I'm an addict. I have no space in my room as it is but I still wanted a banner." She laughed with me and then said..."How many do you want?' 'Only one' sez me, looking very mournful and pouty. She grinned and said in a sly manner: 'We're taking them down on Friday I think...And I don't think the window ones aren't claimed...' I almost let out a fangirl SQUEE but I didn't. Then she took my name and winked at me.
My story telling style in that story was wild, ha ha ha ha!
Chat tonight was BRILLIANT. Joey and Dei and Tim were all on and the topics discussed ranged from: Final Waltz - Saiyuki/Harry Potter crossover - Half-Blood Prince discussion - the dealing of SMUT - tomato soup - dream - ellipses - Dalmations being the pet of Satan - Julian being Jesus - Fandom birthdays - knives - Anakin not liking sand or girls and random slash.
It was a good day. I even napped out on the lawn today.
And I'm going to Belfast with my girls tomorrow. We're going to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. (And why the fuck do I keep going to call it Willy Wonka and the Chocolote Factory? Crazy I say!)
I have such ideas and such thoughts and the ideas for my fandom birthday are all coming together! Hey you! Don't know what I'm on about? Check the last entry of mine! ^_^
OK. I'm finished typing things for mum and I'm headed to bed. To not sleep because I have so much caffine in my system it's like my blood is fizzing! (and BTW, Americans, how the hell do you drink Dr. Pepper? It's like mainlining sugar!)

Date: 2005-08-02 12:21 am (UTC)Also, I'm serious. Tomato soup should NOT boil over in under five minutes! But I cleaned it all up, so NYAH to it! And Anakin better keep his sand-he-don't-like outta my soup. And Seffryn is going to kill both of us over the knives-thing, I think. Are both his eyes red? *Peers* Uh-oh....
And why the fuck do I keep going to call it Willy Wonka and the Chocolote Factory?
Yeah, I always do that too!
Americans, how the hell do you drink Dr. Pepper?
I don't! I think it's narsty. XD I also hate Mountain Dew, which is, like, four times the sugar and caffeine. =O_o= But I loves me some Sprite! And ginger ale and root beer, too. =^^= But you know what I want to try somedei? Butterbeer! I found a recipe online someone invented once...must try sometime....

Congrats on getting the standup.
And as for the stars...
Nya, that's some good times. Star-gazing is/was/will-be always fun.
Have fun in the florida area. I so want to go down and be there then, but I live in the north. And not having a job or a method of transportation, no go ..
Ah well
Do enjoy, love! ^^

Date: 2005-08-15 01:01 pm (UTC)I thought it was. I then had trouble reading the fifth one, but I'm going to try it again after going through the first for once again. Once I dig up the first one that is.

Date: 2005-08-15 01:05 pm (UTC)Sometimes, when I have fallen asleep beneath the stars, I would dream of them speaking to me all in unison. Innumerable voices. It was like all of existence vibrating with endless variations on a theme. Simple sentances, simple concepts, but unthinkably complex in their infinite permutations.
