Mar. 2nd, 2008 05:40 pmLong week
got kicked out of place staying in LA - lived in Greyhound station for 4 days, took 75 hours on bus to reach Virginia. Currently sitting on
hybrid_xisha's computer and setting up camp here for the next while. also trying to sort out earning money to do last parts of trip and going home and stuff.
rough week.
Peoples! tell me about your weeks? how are things with you? regale me with tales!
Please?

Date: 2008-03-06 09:42 pm (UTC)Well, do not be killing yourself with work, even if it is boring! Plus I'm going to have to ask you to pimp a bunch of Arashi musics to me because I wants to hear them and they had "Happiness" on both Air New Zealand flights I was on, which is a blantantly the universe telling me to listen to these amazing boys!!

Date: 2008-03-07 03:34 am (UTC):DDD! Well, here's a few songs for now and I'll try to pimp some more later:
Aozora Pedaru
Slow and a bit sad, but optimistic.
Kotoba Yori Taisetsuna Mono
Recorded as the theme for the drama Stand Up!. It's just...a really pretty song? *fails*
Right Back To You (IZA!Now Version)
This isn't my favourite version of this song, but my only other version has about three minutes of audience noises and creaking, so this one it is! This is the song I use to lure those who are a bit scared of the sparkly-shiny into the music.
Kitto Daijoubu
The quintessential Arashi song! To appreciate the wonder of Kitto Daijoubu, you have to watch the PV. If five men doing an extremely retarded dance in top hats on a rainbow isn't enough to drag you into this fandom, I'm not sure what is. As for live performances, a lot of the promotion for this song was done with only four members, since Nino was in America filming Iwo Jima. The performances definitely improve when he comes back and everyone's all smiles since they're back together again.
Hero
I have about three billion (or maybe 7 :DDD) favourite live performances of Hero, from the sobfest after Aiba's letter on 24Hour TV to the end of the Around Asia concerts when the fans kept calling them out for encore after encore. I think the song itself was originally used for NTV's Olympic coverage when it was first recorded and it really is a pretty emotional song. *beams*
Hitomi no naka no Galaxy
I really like this one. It's soft and slow and kind of sentimental. Makes me feel like star-gazing.
La Familia (Jun solo)
Jun's love song to the rest of Arashi. D'awwwww. Woobie!
Hadashi no Mirai
An image song for an old Coca-Cola commercial, I think. Always a very EPIC performance during concerts, usually involving really special outfits (see icon) or feather boas. It's bouncy and happy and yay!
PIKAN*CHI Double
The PIKAN*CHI movies are hysterically weird, but endearing and this song is really good - the PV is awesome too.
A.RA.SHI
Because you are my soul soul. :)

a bit too much.Hope you're having a good day. I'm doing my best on my exam review. Yosh!

Ohhhh! I saw this 'Rose' top like the one she wears in New Earth and I wanted it but I didn't buy it. :( But I has Rose earrings! We should do a few posey photos in NY!!

D: oh well...unfortunately sometimes you just can't afford those things. Ooo NY photo shoot FTW!
It is very lovely. And large. With big pockets! But I also got this very crazy dress, its white and has a corset top and is all silk and lace and beads and it was 5 dollars. XD It's like a wedding dress on massive amounts of steroids.

Ohhhh, a whale of a tale I'll tell ye, lass. Except I don't know any. I went to London yesterday and saw The Mikado and it was gooood. And we took my Gran to a Wagamamas for the first time.

Date: 2008-03-04 03:25 am (UTC)I was worrying about you, I hadn't heard from you in so long!
Anyway, my life is musical. Literally. This weekend is opening night for the school musical, so I kind of...don't exist outside of my school's auditorium right now.
