1. "Life Is Like A Boat" - Rie Fu (The first Bleach Ending)
It was sheer fluke I caught Bleach on TV one night when it was on (as my brother tapes it for us har har) and as I watched the ending it just caught me - Rie's voice is beautiful and so clear and the way she switches from English to Japanese so flawlessly? My God! Love love love.
2. "I Won't Say I'm In Love" - Meg from 'Hercules'
Shuttup. I had a mad splurge in downloading Disney songs one night and I remember Lillybet playing this in her house one night and I love Hercules - really really do. Even though I've only seen it, what, twice? But I loved this song and the muses and there's a bit where Meg *growls* "Get off my case" - oh! ^_^ Also, she's strong and she realises how stupid it is to fall in love and she's so cynical - how can you not love a song like that?
3. "Our Love Goes Deeper Than This" - Duke Special feat. Neil Hannon
It's all strings and melodrama and the Duke's voice plus Neil's? My god, it's like an aural orgasm. The video is also made of full fucking win as it's all Vaudeville and mock 20's black-and-white heavy lighting, extravagant dress. Plus there's a dancing crocodile. Yes. I meant that.

This is a sweet little easy-listening guitar song that's used on a car ad - I think it's Saab? It's a song you listen to sitting with a friend in the grass, watching the clouds pass overhead before pulling them up and going running downhill - laughing and joking and enjoying being young.

5. "Save Me" - Jude
It's Jude. It's the only track I have from "Redemption". It's Jude. there is no other reason. Obviously made of win.
6. "Canopies And Grapes" - Emmy the Great
I heard Emmy on a music channel with this amazing haunting song called "Easter Parade" that I haven't been able to get anywhere and then found her on Myspace. Then I searched for tracks of hers and downloaded this. And it's a relationship that's gone wrong and you can't get over it and it ended badly and you're making it worse by not letting go but you can't and you make all the mistakes you swore you never would but then you get strong again.

It's so weird how time goes on
It also reminds me of Rose after "Doomsday", which I still haven't seen but I know I still think of her after it. I've heard people complain that she get's softer in Season 2 but this song - this is her. She's stronger than anyone thinks and she bonds with Sarah Jane for a reason - there is life after the Doctor and she'll find it.
