klenaI've been in Glasgow for the past 4 days so that's why no updates....(Also the screwed computer is the answer for the past 2 weeks of Easter Haliday-ness)
On the boats to and fro Troon (That's a place, not a typo) I managed to read all of 'Return of the King.'
For all non-Tolkien fans, firstly: Shame on you! Secondly, it's the final book in the Lord of the Rings trilogy that I've been dying to read for about two months but because of exams and tests and school and home and shit, I haven't had time.
So I got it all read in about 4-5 hours which I'm rather proud of. A
Also I have officially confirmed that Lord of the Rings: Return of the King (the movie) IS coming out on my birthday so I'll be going to see it that night with about 10 friends (All ZQL members and sisters ARE invited!) ^_-
That made me very happy.
What also makes Klena very happy is buying two 'Sandman' shirts from Glasgow's Forbidden Planet (the only anime/sci-fi/comic-book store we have in the U.K), an Animerica magazine, another Tolkien book and a book of artwork from Magic Knights Rayearth. I love the two Sandman shirts and am currently wearing them.
One is a white t-shirt of Daniel-Morpheus and Matthew the raven at the end of The Wake and the other is a black, long-sleeved shirt with a picture of Death herself on it with the caption
"You get what everyone gets....You get a lifetime."
So I'm muchly happy now. I'm trying to cope with all the other crap of life, namely G.C.S.E's and G.C.S.E. music compositons, so my hair is falling out. I've also developed a twitch in my right eye and my lower back had been killing me for the past two weeks. But there's the chiropracter so I'll be OK
I can't think of anything at the moment with the exception of the new ZQL storyline and how my very under-used Completely Insane Hunters group are going to be involved. I've got a lot of ideas for it. Also three of my favourite characters, Leah, Karachi and Neasa, have been plaging my mind so there maybe a lot of my 70+ characters on the loose.
I've counted them all now, so there are 70 different, all exceptionally wierd characters running around my head.
I wanna see 'X' and 'Cowboy Be-Bop: Knocking on Heaven's Door' and 'Inu-yashu!'
That is all.
Now returning to your regularly scheduled sanity.
