- Mon, 22:34: GUESS WHO JUST SAW #FANTASTICBEASTS AND HAS A LOT OF THOUGHTS. THAT'S RIGHT, IT'S ME #harrypotter #mondaynightmovie
- Mon, 22:36: Firstly, I still really enjoyed it. There was a lot of joy & heart in it that struck chords with me. However, it isn't without it's failings
- Mon, 22:37: A lot of potential plot points were underused & under played. Modesty and her dreams of magic. The other Salem woman(??). The wizard council
- Mon, 22:38: Not to mention the Shaw family. It felt like there was a whole thread missing from that tale which left them only vague points of reference
- Mon, 22:39: As @Hello_Tailor pointed out, the main cast had little character, development or nuance to them which let core parts of the movie down.
- Mon, 22:42: For example Tina's speech and plea to Creedence would have been much more solid if we had seen more or the notes hit better.
- Mon, 22:44: Tina lost her job because she saw the abuse of Creedence and kicked off because she couldn't stand for it. But then did nothing?
- Mon, 22:45: Graves' final speech didn't have enough time to land to make the points it needed before the plot escalated again, losing that key moment
- Mon, 22:46: And I had been spoiled for the big reveal and thank god I was because if I hadn't been, I would have been "THAT GUY? Get to fuck."
- Mon, 22:48: What an utterly ridiculous, awful casting choice. The role needs someone solid in it - not a washed up, one note domestic abuser
