I had to go above because I am a really shit editor and believe that the majority of what I type has a point of being in the essay! I still edit but it's very rare that I read a line or a paragraph and go "...well, that's actually pretty pointless"

Silly essays are silly. I can't remember the last time I handed an essay in that was below the word count!
