I know Hakkai's canon from CFUD, but not having actually read/watched much, I'm probably missing some deeper meaning behind the keywords. =^^=

i stumbled when I saw, From King Lear - "I have no path and therefore want no eyes - I stumbled when I saw" which I associate with Hakkai! Particularly his willingness to die after Kanan killed herself and also from a particular part in the manga where he is found by a person who's brother he killed. Where he then tears out his eye. :O

through mismatched eyes, In reference to the fact that Hakkai has a real and a false eye - also links to Bebop's Spike in my mind and what he remarks with his false eye

we will kill the gods The image I used for this icon - which I didn't colour, I want to get in there - has

Which is just fantastic. It's defiant yet it undermines itself and it fits Hakkai from the low self opinion to Minekura's finger/wrist kink to the mission itself.

Yup! It was the first time I really started drawing Fan art - after that episode. I drew this pic pretty accurately of Kari leaning against Tai's back after watching the episode so the episode has a bit of personal significance.

Plus I love tragical things like that. >D

Okay, obviously I need to read Hakkai's canon more, because some of that told me things about the character that didn't make sense at the time I first heard them. XD

I THINK I've seen that picture? I'm pretty sure part of it was an icon for CFUD!Hakkai at one point.
